When does it make sense to use the free version instead of Plenum?
If you're a small community of under 20 people and just need a single shared oase without sub-oases, role-based access or a shared archive, the free version is perfect.
Plenum is built for larger organisations that need to structure communication across committees, year groups or teams — with clear roles and oversight.

Can't we just create a free oase for the whole association and three more for our committees?
In principle, yes — but you lose both oversight and control.
Plenum gathers all your sub-oases in one managed community, where the board and committees have clear role-based access and a shared archive. With separate free oases, each committee operates in isolation, with no shared overview — and you can't manage access, moderation or history across them.

Do you have a data processing agreement?
Yes. We're a Danish company with all data hosted in the EU, and we're happy to sign a DPA with you. Email hello@oase.app and we'll send our standard DPA along with any annexes you need.
